The face behind 143 Scents

Hi, im Sam nice to meet you. 

I suppose I am the face behind 143 Scents which was born from my forever on the go brain. For many years I was a florist, deivering floral tributes and balloon decor, but after developing a chronic illness that has left me on lifelong immunotherapy, I stopped my passion. It felt like i'd lost a part of me.

I missed the art of flowers and needed to find something else to turn my fidgety hands to and ease the itch in my overthinking brain. So I started making personalised gifts and wax melts. Later I started gaining cosmetic assessments in body products like cuticle oil, bubble baths, bath bombs and soaps etc.

Of course it then didn't take long for me to bring out other home fragrance products when I realised I could have every room in my home smelling of my  favourite scents. The list of products just keep growing!

We're a small family run business and I wouldn't have it any other way. We pour our heart and soul into every product we produce. 143 has a personal meaning to me, and I hope that comes across in the products I sell.

I am a massive home fragrance addict, and my home is filled with tealight burners and reed diffusers. My hoover constantly has a fragrance disc in it, and my cupboards are overflowing with cleaning products because I love so many different scents!

My family & friends would say im crazy for adding continuously to my ever-growing product range, because I already have such a busy life, but I guess that's what comes from having a neurodivergent brain! It's always on the go.

But the truth is, there is nothing better to me than lighting the candles in my burner, and relaxing while my home is being filled with whatever fragrance I have in the burner, while sitting in my favourite fluffy socks, drinking a cuppa from whatever cup I've made for that season, snuggled on the sofa (often under a blanket!)

My home is my happy place and I want to share that happiness with you.

I love how smells can evoke memories. They have the ability to change your mood, and we have scents to suit all seasons. I love how having something personalised, can bring a smile to others faces.

The body products wasn't long to follow in my brain after the home fragrances. It made perfect scents (get it scents - sorry haha) after all, shouldn't your bath or shower bring you as much happiness as the scents wafting through your home from the wax melting delishiously. 

So that's me, the forever on to go brain behind the brand. I hope I bring as much joy to your home from my products as I get in mine.
